1845-1848 Dress

I love this dress beyond words. The little V-neck with lace insert, the lovely draped bodice, the tight sleeves with wrist trim.  SIGH.  This is what I love about the 1840s: Loud and fitted!

    I think that's why I love them too! I adore a tight snug sleeve. Not at all a fan of the pagoda or wide angle curved two piece coat sleeve.

      I started out doing 1860s and hated the way the large sleeves looked on me. Not a great look for petites...
